it's a touch warm
summer is in full swing out here in the desert-land: 106, give or take some degrees.
and there's lots of folks and lots of movement in spite of the heat. kolmi and paul are officially moved in, cindy and maaka are back from their wedding, and mike and gabe are doing their boy thing, whatever that is. currently kolmi is consolidating spices, making her move in all the more real (she's already schooling me in the ways of grinding and mixing ones own spices), warren and maaka are constructing a shower behind the kitchen, mike's scraping one of the 300 hides he brought with him (his fingers are acquiring more bandages as the days pass), gabe's probably building a trap or making a pump drill, and cindy's being pregnant. and then there's me and angus in the sweltering heat of the office trailer.
